1st race – (7) Tumbling Sky takes a big class drop for Asmussen and seems best in this field. (4) Magna G Force has some speed and could be tough to catch. (5) Reverend Aj should perk up with a class drop. (6) Bizerk might improve back on turf. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-7. Exactas: 4-7 over 5-6 and 5-6 over 4-7. Doubles: 4-5-6-7 with 1-2-3.

2nd race – (3) Carribean Caper hasn’t raced since April and will be tough to beat if she’s ready for a top effort. (1) Recorder was claimed by a hot barn and looms as the top rival. (2) Queen Bridget seems due for a better effort. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3.

5th race – (5) He’s Pretty Lucky turned in a dull effort in his debut but should fare better against this bunch. (6) Western Pharoah could be competitive here. (3) Futuro will be a threat on his best try. (4) Bubba Caballo is worth a look at this level. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-6. Doubles: 3-4-5-6 with 4-5-6-7.

6th race – (7) Searing Chase has been no worse than third in his last three starts and seems best here. (4) Hurricane Hill ships in from Belmont and should be the main rival. (5) Ignited won easily in his debut and will be dangerous if he can duplicate that effort. (6) Pirate Rick may find smooth sailing on the front end. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-7. Exactas: 4-7 over 5-6 and 5-6 over 4-7.

8th race – (4) Sparkle of Hope returns to turf and should be ready for a big effort. (7) Let Them Eat Cake could feast on this field. (2) Touch of Class was an improved third on turf and merits attention. (5) Sentimental Cross tired last time but could show more speed today. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-5-7.
