1st race – (4) Jack Van Berg tired at seven furlongs but should thrive in this field at six furlongs. (7) Cave Run was a wide fourth last time and may work out a better trip here. (2) Thirsty Betrayal missed by a head and will be a main threat. (6) State Treasurer fits in nicely here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-7. Exactas: 4-7 over 2-6 and 2-6 over 4-7.

3rd race – (5) Chipshire takes a big class drop and should prevail here. (8) Paulas Game might improve on turf. (7) Shoe Biz didn’t fire in her debut on dirt. Turf could make a difference. (3) Speak English was third last time and looms a contender here. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-7-8. Doubles: 3-5-7-8 with 1-2-5-9.

4th race – (2) Texas Red Hot closed fast to finish second in his debut and should be able to post his maiden win here. (1) Crazy Genius seems ready for a sharp effort in his first start. (9) Guntown is another first who is working nicely for his debut. (5) Condemn may benefit from his debut and take a step forward here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-9.

6th race – (1) Moon Dial was a game second in his debut and seems like the one to beat in this spot. (3) Elusive Target should be a force here in his first start. (9) Nineties Country was an even third in his debut and could be more formidable today. (5) We All See It can make his presence felt here. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5-9. Doubles: 1-3-5-9 with 2-3-5-6.

7th race – (6) Alydiva was second in her first try against winner and should prove best here. (2) Peter’s Kitten should be a threat in the final furlong. (5) Runaway Mom could perk up against this field. (3) Osaka Girl held on for second last time and fits in quite well with this group. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-6. Exactas: 2-6 over 3-5 and 3-5 over 2-6.
