1st race – (6) Shaftesbury was second in his last two starts and seems poised for a maiden win. (11) War Bomber is an interesting firster from Casse. (1) Si Como No should appreciate a return to turf. (2) Colton’s Command seems ready for a solid effort in his debut.

2nd race – (1) Mystical Moon was second on a sloppy track and should work out a winning trip from the rail. (5) Zonic was right behind the top pick and may be a factor once again. (3) Textpectation beat limited winners convincingly last time and deserves consideration. (7) Aycapote could be tough to catch here.

3rd race - (5) La Libertee rallied nicely to prevail in a sprint and should prove best here while stretching out. (1) Coworth Park will be helped by a ground-saving trip. (4) World Tour might be a threat after a solid debut win. (3) Joy of Painting was third in a stakes and fits well here.

4th race – (3) Sweet Bye and Bye was a game second from the outside post last time and should be tough to catch with a better post. (6) Sweet Melania has plenty of graded stakes experience and merits respect. (4) Niko’s Dream was hurt by a wide trip last time and can rebound here. (1) Art of Almost should be a factor in the stretch.

5th race – (5) Cool Arrow has done well over the surface in the past and merits a long look here. (1) Yodel E. A. Who looks like the main rival for the top pick. (8) Town Classic was second in his last six starts and belongs in the exotics. (2) Hauntedbythemusic has enough speed to battle to the wire.

6h race – The Kitten’s Joy Appleton Stakes (G3) - (4) Ever Dangerous is in great form and seems quite capable of prevailing in this graded stakes. (3) Frostmourne could be tough to catch in this field. (1) Gray’s Fable is working sharply for his first start in six months and can be a main contender. (7) Forever Mo could sneak into the picture at the end.

7th race – (10) Cadencia comes off a pair of seconds and is overdue for a winning effort. (12) Unshakable U came to life in her turf debut and should be the main rival. (1) Badger Kitten has been prepping in solid fashion for her debut and commands a look. (9) American Heiress is another firster who can make her presence felt.

8th race – The Ghostzapper Stakes (G3) - (1) Last Judgment was a front-running winner last time and may not look back here. (6) War Stopper was third behind the top pick and could be closer here. (2) Eye of a Jedi disappointed last time but can perk up here. (4) Superfecto just might figure in the superfecta.

9th race – (7) Sayyaaf dashed off to a lengthy lead and went gate-to-wire last time. Can make it two in a row here. (10) Hay Dakota had a rough trip, with a slow start and wide trip, and deserves a second chance here. (8) First Premio should be closing quickly in the final furlong. (11) Noble Indy figures to be a factor off the Joseph claim.                 

10th race – The Pan American Stakes Presented by Rood and Riddle (G2) - (1) Cross Border was third in the Pegasus Turf and should appreciate the added distance and ground-saving trip. (3) Sadler’s Joy usually brings home a check and cannot be ignored. (2) Temple is highly consistent  and fits in here. (7) Moon Over Miami may shine in this field.

11th race – (7) It Can Be Done was sharpened in a sprint for today’s race and might respond with a big effort. (6) Annex is undefeated and is highly capable of annexing another win. (5) King of Dreams should perk up back on turf. (4) Lucky Law turned in a blistering work for this start.

12th race – The Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) - (5) Len Lo Lady has the kind of speed that can make her dangerous while stretching out to two turns. (2) Bow Bow Girl showed promise in a maiden win and might be competitive here. (1) Con Lima switches to the main track and will be a main factor off her best try. (3) Crazy Beautiful was a distant second in the Grade 2 Davona Dale and might benefit from that effort.

13th race – The Orchid Stakes (G3) – (4) Morning Molly has been no worse than second in her last seven starts and should land in the winner’s circle. (9) Always Shopping seeks a third straight win and is very much the one to fear. (5) Sorrel makes her U.S. debut and seems to have some talent. (8) Belle Laura was second in a Grade 3 stakes and may be in the mix at the end.

14th race – The Curlin Florida Derby Presented by Hill ‘n’ Dale at Xalapa (G1) – (7) Greatest Honour is 3-for-3 on this track and is in the capable hands of Shug McGaughey. He seems ready to notch a victory that should seal his status as one of the favorites for the Kentucky Derby. (10) Spielberg is Baffert’s first starter in this race and seems well-meant. He should be the main competition. (1) Nova Rags breaks from the rail in a race where the outside posts are disadvantageous and that could propel him to a spot in the trifecta. (9) Collaborate was a monster winner in a maiden race and will be tested for class here.
