1st race – (3) Belle’s Kingdom drops into a claimer and should be able to handle this field. (9) Tami’s Orchid was second at this level and should be a force here. (7) Miss Ghislaine had some trouble in her debut and deserves a look here. (6) Khosea is worth a look at this level. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-6-7-9.

4th race – (1) Quick Step Ed has some late kick and may appreciate the added distance here. (2) Happy Champ won easily last time and will be a main threat. (5) Enamo Astray was second in his last two tries and cannot be ignored. (6) Peruvian Dancer deserves attention off the Eppler claim. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2. Exactas: 1-2 over 5-6 and 5-6 over 1-2. Doubles: 1-2-5-6 with 3-4-5-8.

5th race – (4) Brynbella drops to a level where she should be tough to deny. (5) Buxom Beast has speed and should be tough to catch here. (8) Quid Pro Glow might appreciate the turnback in distance. (3) Hashtag Lucky should be competitive in this spot. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-8.

7th race – (4) Northern (B) was a sharp winner last time and can make it two in a row here. (1) Gangly looks like the one to fear from the rail. (5) Unpublished has some speed and might hang on here. (7) Man of Vision might perk up after switching barns. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4. Exactas: 1-4 over 5-7 and 5-7 over 1-4. Doubles: 1-4-5-7 with 2-3-5-10.

8th race – (5) Forty Flash was a game second last time and seems poised for a maiden win. (2) Outdoor Dining might be ready for an improved effort here. (3) Uncut Gem could shine at this level. (10) Charliecando was third last time and should be in the picture again. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-10.
