5th race – (10) Palace Kitten (B) finished a game second in a claimer last time and should be a major factor here. (11) Holy Meister disappointed as a favorite last time but may rebound here. (4) Rag Tag might perk up on turf. (5) Gray’s Fable returns to turf and may turn in an improved effort. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-10-11.

7th race - (6) Turn of Events was hurt by a wide trip last time and could take a step forward in this spot. (7) Seize the Hay was second last time and should be the main rival. (8) Win d’Oro will welcome a return to turn. (2) Opus North flopped after a layoff but may take a step forward here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-6-7-8.

9th race - (5) Always Shopping was a Grade 2 stakes winner last year who is making her first start since May. Recent works say she’s ready for a top effort in her turf debut. (7) Mintd was a sharp winner in her U.S. debut and should be dangerous here. (4) Dark Artist will welcome the class relief after racing in stakes. (9) Art of Almost should be a major threat after a freshening. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-7-9. Doubles: 4-5-7-9 with 1-2-5-8.

10th race – (8) Perfect Revenge  didn’t fire in a graded stakes but fits better here and should prove best. (5) Dynadrive was a distant second last time and can be closer at the wire today. (2) Blood Moon exits a stakes and figures to be right there at the finish. (1) Like You exits a big win and will be threat if he can duplicate that effort. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-8.

12th race – (10) Honest Gal drops a notch and looks like the one to beat. (4) Rye Street takes a major class drop and merits respect. (8) Party Dress drops a notch off a claim and should push the favorite. (5) Socially Astray is worth a look switching from turf to dirt. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place.  Exacta box: 4-5-8-10.
