3rd race – (3) Panarea was third against better company and should prevail here. (2) Gran Etiqueta is a firster who deserves attention here. (4) Lucy’s Interest might perk up in a claimer. (1) Platinumcents has been away for a while and might contend against these. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3. Exactas: 2-3 over 1-4 and 1-4 over 2-3.

5th race - (6) Frenchmen Street showed a nice turn of speed but had to settle for second. Hangs on here. (1) Combative has been absent but his works indicate he’s ready for a good effort. (3) Chaps will be a threat if he’s ready for his best effort. (7) Sturgeon has enough speed to be a main factor. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6. Exactas: 1-6 over 3-7 and 3-7 over 1-6. Doubles: 1-3-6-7 with 2-3\-6.

6th race – (6) Lady Fiorella might take a step forward with a little more distance. (2) Simple Story will be a main contender if she can duplicate her last try. (3) East Coast Swing is worth a look on dirt. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6.

9th race – (7) Shrewdness (B) was hurt by a slow pace in a longer test. Makes an interesting switch to the main track. (3) Graceful Princess makes her debut for Pletcher and has been working impressively. (6) Believe Indeed has a nice late kick and can make her presence felt. (1) Slam Dunk might be a winner if she runs back to her last start. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place.  Exacta box: 3-7. Exactas: 3-7 over 1-6 and 1-6 over 3-7. Doubles: 1-3-6-7 with 5-8-11-12.

10th race – (11) Candy Coma (C) dropped from 3-2 to 4-5 and was a game second in his debut. Should make amends for that setback here. (8) Fifty Cents drops to a level where he should be a major threat. (12) Annualized could be a threat from the outside post in this field. (5) Nothin But Net could score some points here. Betting strategy: 11 to win, place.  Exacta box: 5-8-11-12.
