1st race – (3) Strong Ending takes a big class drop and then switched to dirt while finishing second. Was claimed out of that race and could turn in another big effort here off the claim. (10) Elvis’s Joy turned in a dismal debut at Fair Grounds but might perk up here in a claimer. (11) Cardiac Kid also figures to improve in a claimer. (1) Abdaa will be a threat from the rail. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-10-11. Doubles: 1-3-10-11 with 1-2-3-8.

2nd race – (3) Sunshine City could give Ward his overdue first win at the meet. (8) Darla is a firster who could be a contender in this spot. (2) Missing Link may have a nice turn of speed. (1) Special Inclusion may not look back from the rail. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-8.

6th race - (9) Fuddled (A) missed by a neck in her career debut and can make amends here. (8) Humor Me Dixie showed sharp early speed in her debut and then tired late. May not look back here. (7) Senora Roma might appreciate a switch to turf. (5) Gloriously woke up in her turf debut and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-7-8-9. Doubles: 5-7-8-9 with 1-3-4-7.

7th race – (1) Bean Counter was a game second last time and should prove best here. (7) Omnia could be more formidable in a claimer. (4) Bramble Boy has been away since October and will be dangerous if ready. (3) Augusta Moon will be a main threat in this spot. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-7.

11th race – (6) Preacher Marsee (B) had to wait for running room and then lost by a length. Should work out a winning trip here. (4) Proquestor ships in from Tampa Bay and looks like the one to fear. (11) A I Initiative could be a threat in the final furlong. (12) Creative Genius is worth a look against this field. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place.  Exacta box: 4-6-11-12.
