3rd race – (3) Nothins Free (B) stumbled at the start and then wound up second best. Should make amends here. (5) Midnight Miracle missed by a neck and looks like the one to beat. (2) Kiffle should be the one to catch in this group. (6) Baby Ice might contend off a claim. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5. Exactas: 3-5 over 2-6 and 2-6 over 3-5. Doubles: 2-3-5-6 with 2-4-5-9.

4th race – (4) War Star (B) got off to a slow start and then rallied wide and finished fourth. Can get the job done with a smooth trip. (2) Apache Brave is worth a look off the Baxter claim. (5) Cryogenic was second and first in his last two starts and belongs in the exotics. (9) Fully Loaded could be dangerous from the outside post. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-5-9.

6th race – (3) No No Nina was washed off the turf in her debut. Gets that opportunity here and should make the most of it. (1) Gotta Go Mo was a game third from the outside post and should relish a rail trip. (5) Avuncular might perk up in her turf debut. (2) Backside Beauty could be a factor in her debut. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-5.

8th race – (6) Voodoo Zip was second in his last two starts and should get the job done today. (11) Shamrocket was a game second off a six-month layoff and should move forward. (8) Riggins has put in some impressive works for his debut. (4) Express Pharoah missed by a neck last time and will be a major contender here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place.  Exacta box: 4-6-8-11. Doubles: 4-6-8-11 with 1-4-6-9.

9th race – (9) Roman Empire was an impressive winner on the main track and should handle a switch back to turf. (4) Resident Liberal figures to be a threat in the final furlong. (1) Rhythmia was hurt by a wide trip and may benefit from a rail trip here. (6) Proven Strategies exits an easy maiden win and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place.  Exacta box: 1-4-6-9.
