1st race – (4) Blaine’s Hat Trick staged a nice rally to finish third in his debut and should take a step  forward here. (5) My Friend Duke might welcome a switch to Tapeta. (1) Pork Chop could feast on this field from the rail. (3) Shanghai Warrior has speed and could be tough to catch here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-5.

3rd race – (5) Lady Jae returns to turf and should turn in an improved effort. (3) Lookinlikeaqueen may shine on turf. (4) Big Bad Diva will be well-suited by a return to turf. (6) Smart Spending fits in well with this group. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5. Exactas: 3-5 over 4-6 and 4-6 over 3-5.

5th race – (2) Alizee (B) lost ground in a four-wide rally last time and should work out a winning trip here. (3) Drinks On Me was a narrowly beaten third last time and should be a major threat here. (5) Veil will be dangerous off the D’Angelo claim. (4) Ms Big Spring has enough speed to be a presence here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3. Exactas: 2-3 over 4-5 and 4-5 over 2-3. Doubles: 2-3-4-5 with 2-3-5-6. Pick 3: 2-3-4-5 with 2-3-5-6 with 1-2-3-4.

6th race – (5) High Front (A) was an impressive front-running winner of his debut and can make it two in a row here. (3) Ice Chocolat makes his U.S. debut and is worth a look. (2) Nice Ace should be a contender in this spot. (6) Discreet Tune exits a stakes and should not be ignored. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-6. Doubles: 2-3-5-6 with 1-2-3-4.

7th race – (4) Uno Tiger missed by a neck and deserves top billing here. (2) Marisa’s Mission should be helped by a switch to Tapeta. (3) Exchange Day looks like the one to catch in the stretch. (1) Mister Leonardo will be helped by a rail trip. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-4.
