1^st race – (4) Splicer cuts back to a sprint and should thrive at this distance. (3) Mount Sinai is worth a look off the Klesaris claim. (2) Brody’s Causeway was second in a similar race and merits attention. (5) We’ve Had Enough arrives off some competitive races at Woodbine. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-5.

3rd race – (5) My Prankster was second in a stakes last time and looks best here. (1) Hey Porter should fare much better at a sprint distance. (2) One More Score might wake up on dirt. (6) Frosted Armour won nicely in a maiden claimer and will be a factor here. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5. Exactas: 1-5 over 2-6 and 2-6 over 1-5. Doubles: 1-2-5-6 with 4-6-7-10.

4th race – (10) Roadtriptonowhere debuts for Ward and seems ready for a big effort. (6) Never Satisfied showed little in his debut but may take a step forward with Paco aboard. (4) Spanish Noble drops a notch and can make his presence felt. (7) Wildcat Echo faces a slightly weaker field here. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-7-10.

7th race – (1) Nocturnal has been off since last winter’s meet but loves this course and seems ready for a big effort for Pletcher. (5) Drain the Clock is a Grade 1 winner and the one to fear most. (7) Gatsby has a great chance based on his recent form. (2) Quick Tempo might contend off the turf to dirt switch. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5. Exactas: 1-5 over 2-7 and 2-7 over 1-5. Doubles: 1-2-5-7 with 1-4-5-6.

8th race – (4) Take Charge Ro (B) rallied fast to finish second last time and can make amends for that loss here. (5) Onyx returns to turf and may perk up. (1) Lovely Luvy moves back to turf and will benefit from a rail trip. (6) Jezebel’s Kitten will be a threat in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5. Exactas: 4-5 over 1-6 and 1-6 over 4-5.
