2nd race – (3) Prime Factor debuts for Pletcher and his works indicate he’s primed for a big effort. (2) Semper Fidelis was a good second in his debut and should be the main rival. (4) Dr. Duke tired abruptly in his debut but has worked nicely since then and may  /// take a step forward. (1) Bracken also makes his first start for Pletcher and should not be overlooked. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-4. Doubles: 1-2-3-4 with 2-4-5-6.

3rd race - (2) Runaway Rockette (B) was a game winner at Keeneland and can make it two in a row here. (4) Gambling Cat fizzled in a graded stakes but can bounce back here. (6) Tete a Tete could be well-suited for turf. (5) Viking Queen showed some ability in her debut and can be a main factor. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-5-6.

5th race – (2) Fierce Scarlett was hurt by a wide trip last time and should work out a better trip here. (3) Our Little Jewel may perk up moving back to turf. (5) Passion Plus will welcome a return to turf. (8) Ghostly Beauty rallied for second last time and is a big threat to hit the board here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-8.

8th race – (6) Madita didn’t appreciate running over synthetics but figures to rebound here on turf. (5) Lady Lawyer was a sharp winner last time and looks like the one to fear. (2) Art of Almost ships in from Canada and will be a contender with this bunch. (3) Our Bay B Ruth usually brings home a check and merits a long look. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-6. Doubles: 2-3-5-6 with 1-2-6-7

9th race – (7) Tatweej makes his stakes debut but has a high turn of speed and may not look back in this field. (1) Tax has been away since May but is working well for his comeback. (2) Phat Man likes this track and can make his presence felt. (6) Math Wizard has plenty of graded stakes experience and should be closing quickly at the end. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-7. Exactas: 1-7 over 2-6 and 2-6 over 1-7.
