3rd race – (5) Jazzy T missed by a neck in his first try over the synthetic surface and can make amends for that setback today. (2) My Tommy Lee was third in her last try on a synthetic surface and should be a threat. (6) Cha Cha Mission missed by a head in his last try on this type of course.  (4) Sweet Actress could play a role in the outcome. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5. Exactas: 2-5 over 4-6 and 4-6 over 2-5. Doubles: 2-4-5-6 with 2-3-6-7.

4th race – (2) Halo of Fire returns to turf and should be able to work out a winning trip. (6) Perfect Provision might welcome a switch to turf. (7) Bitty Boss is working nicely for her career debut with Walsh. (3) Keene On Jenny fits well with these. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-7.

6th race – (1) Peter D is 2-for-2 over this course and can make it a perfect 3-for-3 today. (2) Pharaoh’s Prophecy switches to Gaffalione and may show improvement. (7) Eye of the Temple may revert to top form here. (3) Steel City Dude was second last time and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-7.

8th race – (2) Determined Fury drops into a claimer and should prove best in this spot. (1) The Great Oz fizzled in his first try against winners but can show some heart here. (5) Where’s Joey exits a maiden win at Parx and deserves a look. (3) Loyal Louie missed by a neck and can make his presence felt. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-5. Doubles: 1-2-3-5 with 3-4-6-9.

9th race – (6) Klickitat exits a stakes and should be hard to handle in this spot. (9) Aviano returns to turf and looks like the main rival. (3) Rockstar Ro was second on a sloppy track and may benefit from the dirt-to-turf switch. (4) Hurricane Hill should appreciate the added distance. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-6-9.
