3rd race – (3) Dropped Anchor was third in his debut on a sloppy track and should be quite effective at this reduced level. (4) Converter returns to a claimer and should be the main rival. (5) Speight didn’t fire on turf but may fare better on dirt. (7) Foster Hope has early speed and might last for a share of the purse. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-7.

5th race - (7) Elliereeseaston seems set for a big effort in her debut. (9) British Edge was a distant second in her debut and should improve off that try. (3) R Adios Jersey put in a sharp gate work for her debut and cannot be ignored. (4) Playera is worth a look back in a claimer. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-7-9. Doubles: 3-4-7-9 with 1-3-4-7.

6th race – (7) Chess’s Dream didn’t care for a wet track but should thrive back on turf. (1) Sososubtle is a firster who is worth a big look here. (3) Toretto has speed and can land in the exotics. (4) Loyal Louis will welcome a return to turf. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-7.

8th race – (7) Aunt Nadine has sharp early speed and may not look back against these. (6) Lagertha showed big improvement last time and could be the one to fear. (5) Lenzi’s Lucky Lady should get some attention in her debut. (4) Spun Glass was a clear winner at Woodbine and merits attention here. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-6-7.

11th race – (3) Phantom Vision was a good second in his debut and should graduate here. (7) Spill the Tea fits in nicely here. (10) Candy Jar seems well-bred for turf. (1) Reinagol can make her presence felt from the rail. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-7-10.
