3rd race – (3) Trade Deadline drops into a claimer for the first time and looks best in this spot. (4) Exult also debuts in a claimer and should be a factor. (6) Colliery has been away since March and is working well for his comeback. (7) Mr Matuschek could be tough to catch here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-6-7. Doubles: 3-4-6-7 with 2-3-4-6.

4th race – (6) Beeboo cuts back from two turns to seven furlongs and should welcome the turnback. (2) Fuego Caliente could be a threat here. (4) American Fleet is worth a look in his career debut. (3) Divert was a game second and will be a main contender. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-6.

7th race – (2) Viking Queen showed a nice turn of late speed to win her debut and seems nicely spotted against males in this spot. (4) Go Mike rallied for second in his turf debut and seems destined to be the main rival. (8) Dang It could perk up on turf. (1) Gods Blessing has been trying to race on turf, should get that chance here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-8. Doubles: 1-2-4-8 with 1-4-6-7. Pick 3: 1-2-4-8 with 1-4-6-7 with 2-4-5-7.

8th race – (4) Yellowstone Girl (B) set the pace when second against similar at Churchill Downs. Might not look back over this track. (7) Sunny Isle Beach debuts for Gargan, who is off to a hot start at the meet. (1) Bold Article comes off a powerful win at Churchill Downs and is dangerous here. (6) Coffee Buzz Buzz could be a threat against these. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-6-7. Doubles: 1-4-6-7 with 2-4-5-7.

9th race – (4) Social Paranoia has plenty of graded stakes experience and has big enough class edge to offset a layoff since March. (7) Epic Dreamer might turn out to like grass. (2) Another Miracle should be closing late and should not be ignored. (5) Hay Dakota will be dangerous on his best try. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-5-7.
