1st race – (4) Peachy Queen takes a big class drop for Gargan and seems well spotted here. (1) Pretty Rachel should benefit from a rail trip. (8) One Night Stand tries claimers for the first time and can be a factor. (7) Lady Tapatia has been absent since June but fits with these. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-7-8.

4th race – (2) Patty H (D) was bet down from 8-5 to 6-5 then tired at six furlongs. Will be better suited by six furlongs here. (6) Exact tries claimers for the first time and shapes up as the one to fear. (1) Frosted Mistress can make her presence felt in her career debut. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6.

7th race – (2) Arham makes his debut for Pletcher and has put in some bullet works that bode well for his future. (4) Catch On Emotional has keen early speed and should be the one to catch. (6) Tonalism is another firster who seems to have plenty of talent. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-6. Doubles: 2-4-6 with 1-3-5-9.

8th race – (5) Bad Beat Brian flopped last time in his first start for Maker but should wake up here. (3) Pagliacci drops to a level where he can hit all the right notes. (9) Coop Tries Harder will be happy to be back on turf. (1) Big Drink of Water is worth a long look from the rail despite a 13-month layoff. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5-9.

10th race – (1) Superhighway should ride the fast lane to victory from the rail. (9) Quasar Moon figures to be the main rival in the stretch. (3) Lets Play Hardball takes a huge class drop and cannot be ignored. (2) Purecrazidude should be formidable at this level. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-9.
