1st race – (4) Coworth Park drops into a claimer for the first time for Pletcher and should emerge victorious. (11) Sweet Felicia can be dangerous at this level. (5) Ninja Kitten is worth a look in her career debut. (8) Wild Walkoff might perk up against claimers. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-8-11. Doubles: 4-5-8-11 with 1-5-6-8.

2nd race – (1) No Commission seems ready for a big effort in his career debut and gets the nod here. (8) Full Send was hurt by wide trip last time and gets a positive rider switch to Paco. (5) Last Minute Deal will be a force here in a claimer. (6) Money Song was second in his debut and cannot be discounted.  Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6-8.

4th race – (9) Julie Bird (B) clipped heels and still finished third at this level. Atones for that mishap here. (11) Irazu should be a major threat in the stretch. (2) Union Park Gal may perk up in a claimer. (1) Cheerleader Barb should be a threat from the rail. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-9-11.

7th race – (7) Apache Brave comes off a win at Laurel and can beat these with a similar effort. (2) Smoke ‘n’ Gloat might welcome a switch to turf. (12) Discretionary Marq could be a main contender despite the outside post. (5) Oak Bluffs will be closing quickly at the end. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-7-12.

9th race – (6) Shamrocket debuts for Pletcher and seems poised for a big effort. (9) My Point Exactly was no worse than second in his last three tries and should be the main rival. (5) Moxo Bello finds a level where he should be effective. (8) Freedom Matters could be tough to catch in this field. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6-8-9.
