1st race – (1) Serenade a Kitten didn’t fire in his debut but adds blinkers here and should take a step forward. (8) Not Tonight Bobby drops a notch and might be suited by more distance. (9) Sum Nation debuts for Joseph and cannot be ignored. (2) Cheerleader Barb will be closing quickly at the end. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-8-9.

4th race - (7) Hartling makes her debut for Joseph and is a stickout based on her recent works. (2) Postino’s Champion is a hard-knocking New Jersey-bred who should be a threat here. (6) La Tres Jolie has a nice turn of late speed and will be charging at the end. (1) Inedatequila might be hard to catch from the rail. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6-7.

6th race – (1) West Will Power is a perfect 2-for-2 and should make it 3-for-3 here. (6) Everfast drops out of stakes company and is the one to fear. (4) Mexican Wonder Boy debuts for Gargan and was a winner here earlier in the year. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-6.

9th race – (8) Dancing Doll comes off two nice wins at Woodbine and his turf form is good enough to make her the top pick in this spot. (10) Dealer’s Girl won nicely at Monmouth and looks like the one to catch in the stretch. (11) Stormy Nelly flopped in slop but should perk up on turf. (3) Subsidiary was a sharp winner last time and will be tough to handle if she can duplicate that try. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-8-10-11. Doubles: 3-8-10-11 with 2-3-5-11.

10th race – (2) All Good (B) was washed off the turf for the third time in his last four tries and was claimed by Maker. Based on his last turf race, he should turn in a big effort here. (3) Thenorthremembers was hurt by a wide trip last time, but can work out a better trip here. (11) Emoji Guy hasn’t raced since a maiden win in March but merits attention in this spot. (5) Maverick Kitten has enough late kick to be a big factor.  Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-11.
