1st race – (3) Imposter Syndrome had a helpful debut that should pay off here against claimers. (8) Ready for Diamonds seems ready for a strong showing here. (5) Shockwave should respond to a drop into claimers and a switch to turf. (9) Soupersilverdollar is an interesting first-time starter. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-8-9. Doubles: 3-5-8-9 with 1-2-6-7.

2nd race – (1) Cantillate posted a solid maiden win and should be fine at the longer distance. (2) Gypsy Kitten could be a factor in his debut. (6) Bosshog Them Dukes might respond to a jockey switch. (7) Ridewiththedevil may wake up in this spot  off the Maker claim. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6-7.

4th race – (1) Baby Billy (C) dropped from 8-5 to 6-5 and finished second once again by only a head. Seems overdue for a maiden win. (5) Scaramanga debuts for Breen and has been training smartly. (7) Rule It seems on edge for a solid race in his debut. (3) Swirvin put in a fast work for his debut. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5-7.

6th race – (3) Candenza cuts back to five furlongs and could work out a winning trip here. (7) Harry’s Onthebeach staged a nice rally last time and should be a top threat. (4) Mogalu was a sharp second last time on turf and should handle Tapeta. (5) Major King exits a maiden win and is worth a look. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-7. Doubles: 3-4-5-7 with 1-4-8-11.

7th race – (4) Causin’ Mayhem weakened late last time and may hang on at a shorter distance off some rest. (1) Carrothers drops in class and will be a threat from the rail. (8) News Break has been working impressively after a lengthy layoff. (11) Coleridge should be closing quickly at the end. Betting strategy: 4  to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-8-11.
