3rd race – (10) Generic Joe takes a big drop in class and should be hard to catch. (3) Con Permiso steps up off a second and should be a threat. (6) Forty Flash might perk up in a claimer and while switching to turf. (1) The King Aquiles drops to a level where he should be effective. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-6-10. Doubles: 1-3-6-10 with 1-2-3-6.

4th race – (6) Union Gap does not belong to someone named Gary Puckett but he does slide down the claiming ladder for his connections and should fit in quite well here. (3) Kolohe Prince didn’t fare too well on turf but might be better suited for dirt. (2) Social Equality should be a factor at this level. (1) Longtail could prove to be as good as anyone in a weak field. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-6.

6th race – (5) Brazillionaire should respond to the drop into a claimer with a winning effort in his turf debut. (6) Eagerly is 0-for-7 in MSW races but is the one to fear here. (2) Blue Lou Boyle has been absent for more than a year but is training nicely for his comeback. (4) Mauro’s Team should be closing quickly at the end.  Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6. Exactas: 5-6 over 2-4 and 2-4 over 5-6.

8th race – (3) Tracy Ann’s Legacy was very game in a stakes and should be able to handle these optional claimers. (5) Boerne might relish a switch to turf. (6) Still Alive switches to Irad and improvement is expected. (1) Choose Joy has enough speed from the rail to be a threat. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5. Exactas: 3-5 over 1-6 and 1-6 over 3-5. Doubles: 1-3-5-6 with 2-4-8-10.

9th race – (2) Soldollie (C) dropped from 3-1 to 2-1 and posted a sharp victory on the front end. He’s won three of his last five starts and can add another one today. (8) Front Loaded takes a big drop off the claim and will be dangerous here with Irad. (4) Resident comes off a front-running score and merits attention here. (10) Vinnie Van Go was second last time and should present a problem for his rivals while debuting for Klesaris. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-8-10.
