1st race – (3) Exact returns to turf and should be tough to catch at this level. (9) Bahamian Rhapsody might work out a good stalking trip from the outside post. (5) Pretzel could enjoy a taste of success on turf. (6) Elusive Eyes might turn in a better effort on turf. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6-9.

5th race – (1) Apache Brave (B) returns to turf and should turn in a better effort. (3) Black Jet has a nice turn of speed and could be tough to catch here. (6) Seven Gems drops to a level where he should be a main factor. (7) Kantharos’ Image has been facing better and will be a contender today. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-6-7.

7th race – (9) Coffee Buzz Buzz settled for second last time but should be able to work out a winning trip here. (3) Serenade a Kitten seeks a third straight win and looms as the one to fear. (4) Cheerleader Barb exits a sharp maiden win and seems athletic enough to prevail here. (1) Glitter Bay may find smooth sailing from the rail. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-9. Doubles: 1-3-4-9 with 3-4-6-7.

8th race – (3) Lauda Speed exits stakes company and will be tough to deny in this spot. (7) The Ice Beast adds blinkers and should be well-suited by the six-furlong distance. (6) Beaster is well-suited here  against starter company. (4) Worlds On High was a game second in his debut against winners and cannot be overlooked. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-7. Exactas: 3-7 over 4-6 and 4-6 over 3-7.

10th race – (1) Lease (C) dropped from 7-2 to 5-2 but was second best against similar. He should atone for that setback here. (7) Superposition drops in class and figures to improve with a switch to Irad. (10) Breaking Alone makes his turf debut and deserves some attention. (6) Aesthetically rallied belatedly in his debut and can take a step forward here. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6-7-10.
