3rd race – (6) Maureenlovesfrank debuts for Cox in a claimer and seems best in a small field. (4) We Bless Luck was third last time against cheaper but might move up with the addition of Lasix. (2) Skyfly drops into a claimer and is worth a look. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-6. Doubles: 2-4-6 with 1-4-5-6.

4th race – (6) Zamfir (D) dropped from 8-5 to 6-5 but never fired in a starter race. Should bounce back here in a claimer. (5) No Commission comes off a sharp maiden win and looks like the one to fear. (4) Spend Benjamins also exits a victory and cannot be discounted. (1) This Dudes No Fool debuts for Avila and fits well here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-6.

7th race – (4) Hyperfocus has not raced since June but showed some potential at 2 and could prove best here on turf despite the layoff. (9) Raison d’Air flopped in a stakes and could bounce back here. (7) Hot Blooded is a stakes winner on turf and will be dangerous off his best try. (5) Advance Cash has plenty of speed and could be tough to catch. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-7-9.

9th race – (5) Miss Teheran turned in a good effort in a Santa Anita stakes and can handle these with a similar effort. (8) Sun Summers was third in a Sunshine stakes and looms as the main rival. (7) Runway Dreamer ships in from Canada and seems to fit in well with this bunch. (2) My Gal Betty usually brings home a check and should be a contender here. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-7-8. Doubles: 2-5-7-8 with 2-5-7-8.

10th race – (8) Romp switches back to dirt and seems ready for a big effort while taking on claimers. (7) Password Protected was claimed by Kenneally out of his first start and seems well-spotted for a solid effort. (5) Flamingo Hawk drops a notch and merits consideration. (2) Load Up Moe should be a threat in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-7-8.
