3rd race – (2) Millefeuille has not raced since finishing sixth in the Kentucky Oaks. She’s turning in solid works and seems set for a winning effort. (1) Café Society should be the main rival from the rail. (4) Pens Street won easily last time and is worth a look here. (7) Toned Up could be a threat in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2. Exactas: 1-2 over 4-7 and 4-7 over 1-2.

5th race – (7) Gear Jockey has been rested since the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint but has been working quickly for a comeback and deserves top billing. (6) Richy moves back to turf and could be a main factor. (4) Yes I Am Free was a competitive fourth last time and fits in well here. (5) Belgrano should like the turnback to a sprint. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 6-7. Exactas: 6-7 over 4-5 and 4-5 over 6-7.

7th race – (3) Gonna Be Epic (B) rallied wide for second last time and should work out a winning trip here. (1) Conglomerate exits a maiden win and may be a contender. (9) Bach might rebound with a better try here. (4) Sweeney’s Cat figures to be a big factor in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-9.

9th race – (10) Charge It (C) dropped from 2-1 to 7-5 and then turned in a strong effort, missing by a neck in his debut. Should graduate here. (9) Granlusso is a firster who may ready for a solid debut effort. (4) Enough Already can make some noise in his debut. (8) Touch Code can be a factor on his best try. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-8-9-10.

11th race – (5) Meister has a nice turn of speed and could be tough to catch here. (1) Will E Sutton has been absent since April but seems primed for a solid try. (4) Who’s the Star ships in from California and should make his presence felt. (6) Unbridled was last seen running in the Preakness and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-6.
