1st race – (2) Lake Shore Drive arrives from Canada where he was competing on synthetics and turf. Finds a field he can handle. (4) Scotty Brown tackles claimers and should be a factor for new connections. (3) Wontoughsunofagun is worth a look on turf. (1) Zip Line to Heaven should be a threat from the rail. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4. Exactas: 2-4 over 1-3 and 1-3 over 2-4.

3rd race – (1) Financial System was claimed out of a third in the slop. Should be tougher on a dry track. (3) Town Classic didn’t care for Tapeta but should rebound here. (5) Lusitano might appreciate the stretchout. (6) Benefactor should be a factor with these. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3. Exactas: 1-3 over 5-6 and 5-6 over 1-3. Doubles: 1-3-5-6 with 3-6-8-9.

4th race – (9) Magniloquent was a tired third off a seven-month layoff and was worked sharply since then. Merits top billing. (6) Devilly was third in her last two starts and should be the main rival. (3) R Girl’s Werth It has speed and looks like the one to catch. (8) Masked Heroine could be a threat in her career debut. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-6-8-9.

7th race – (4) On Alert (B) turned in an improved effort in her second start and seems ready for a big try against winners. (1) Surreal Fantasy might take to turf. (5) Daisy Bee looked good in a maiden win and merits attention. (7) My Philly Twirl has outside speed and should be the one to reel in. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4. Exactas: 1-4 over 5-7 and 5-7 over 1-4. Doubles: 1-4-5-7 with 1-4-5-10.

8th race – (5) Belle’s Kingdom was second at this level last time and should make amends for that loss here. (4) La Rusia was second in six of her last 11 starts and can complete the exacta once again. (1) Eagle Eye drops a notch and will be a main contender here. (10) Khosea should be a main factor if she can overcome the tough post. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-10.
