1st race – (1) Fast Fashion tries Tapeta after a number of good efforts on turf. May be poised for a maiden win. (8) Sweet Actress has been second or third in five of her last six starts and should be the main rival. (4) Elusive Uncaptured disappointed on turf but can bounce back here. (2) Spun for Lu Lu should be better at this distance. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-8. Doubles: 1-2-4-8 with 1-5-6.

2nd race – (1) Foolish Heart has been wrong before but this may be the right spot for her on Tapeta. (6) Richies Great Girl missed by a neck and is the one to fear. (5) Dial to Win seeks a fourth straight win and should not be ignored. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6.

5th race – (4) Lee Ann’s Warrior showed speed in her debut before tiring. May hang on at a shorter distance off the Fawkes claim. (5) Philzano has improved with each start and merits attention here. (7) Dippy Evans is a firster who seems to be working well for his debut.(11) Cacheton was third in his first try and might fare better thanks to that experience. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-7-11.

7th race – (2) Eternal Rest tired late and was DQ’d to third. Might respond to a shift to turf. (6) Steel City Dude has been first or second in his last four tries and is the one to fear most. (7) Demogorgon fell a head short last time and can be dangerous here. (1) Peter D might wake up here after a disappointing try. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-6. Exactas: 2-6 over 1-7 and 1-7 over 2-6..

9th race – (3) Timmy M. (B) staged an impressive rally to win last time and can make it two in a row today. (8) Marisa’s Mission will benefit from a switch to Saez. (4) Exchange Day looks like the one to catch. (5) Mister Leonardo is in solid form and should make his presence felt. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-8.
