Hot List Key:

A : A preferred horse to watch                   B: Secondary horse to watch
*C: Went down 2 or more betting notches in the final 3 minutes and finished 1st through 3rd
*D: Went down 2 or more betting notches and finished 4th or worse
* - 4 or more betting notches if 11-1 or more.

3rd race – (1) Don’tpushyourluck lost by a neck at this level and was claimed by Maker. Seems set for  a maiden win today. (4) What a Trick tired in her career debut but should be tougher today. (3) Blue Kentucky Girl has been absent for five months and cuts back to a sprint. Might be worth a look. (8) Breehazel could work out a nice trip from the outside post. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-8. Doubles: 1-3-4-8 with 2-3-5.

4th race – (5) To a T was a good third in an allowance race and should thrive in a claimer. (3) Briella exits a pair of stakes and shapes up as the one to fear. (2) Polished Gem will welcome a return to claimers. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5.

7th race – (2) Zippy Baby (A) had a rough, wide trip when he rallied fast in the final furlong to finish second. Was claimed by Breen and should be formidable back at the same level. (7) Richiesgotgame was bumped at the start and finished fifth behind the top pick. Deserves a second chance here. (3) Chao was claimed out of a second-place finish and fits nicely here. (5) Yes This Time comes off a wide trip against the top pick and has a shot to be a factor. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-7. Doubles: 2-3-5-7 with 1-6-7-8.

8th race – (1) Ghazaaly rallied belatedly in his debut. Gets more distance here and should benefit from a rail trip. (6) Swingman was third in his first two starts at Keeneland and seems ready for a big try here. (8) Midlaner was fourth in his first two starts and could respond to a two-turn distance. (7) Prayer Book might appreciate a switch to the main track. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6-7-8.

11th race – (7) Mrs. Danvers broke through last time with a romp in a graded stakes and seems poised for another big effort here. (3) Eres Tu seeks a fourth straight win and should be a major threat. (2) Gibberish has also won her last three starts and has enough early speed to be dangerous. (4) Dream Marie exits a pair of graded stakes at one turn. Might prefer the two-turn distance here. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-7.
