1st race – (2) One Most Wanted had trouble at the start in his debut at Tampa Bay and then rallied to lose by two lengths. Ships in and steps up in company but should prove best here. (3) Eamonn lost by a little more than a length in his first try against claimers and could be the main rival. (6) Thorn switches back to turf and will be dangerous in a claimer. (8) Couch Dreams might fare better here in a claimer. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-8.

3rd race - (8) Alley to Calvary (B) gets back on turf and should respond with a better effort at this level. (6) Mi Karlita drops a notch and has a nice closing kick. (7) Makisupa takes a big class drop and should be a main threat. (3) Tailadios was hurt by a wide trip and could be closer. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-6-7-8. Doubles: 3-6-7-8 with 1-5-6.

4th race – (6) Pharoah’s Belle didn’t fire in her debut in a sprinter. Based on some fast recent works, the two-turn distance here may suit him. (5) Wow is worth a look while switching to turf. (1) Bow Bow Girl stumbled at the start and never challenged after that. Gets a second chance here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6.

9th race – (2) Don’t Call Me Mary flopped in her first race for Pletcher but a five-month freshening and sharp recent works point to a turnaround today. (6) Slam Dunk debuts for Shug and seems set for a big effort. (1) Aziza may appreciate a switch to the main track. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6. Doubles: 1-2-6 with 4-6-7-8.

10th race – (7) Tusk didn’t fire last time but should rebound with a solid try at this level. (6) Apreciado descends in search of a winning level and may have found it. (4) Cuestion de Tiempo makes his first start for Sano and is worth a look. (8) Another opened a long lead and missed by a head while finishing third. He might be tough to reel in here. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-7-8.
