2^nd race – (7) War Feather (B) had a rough trip when she faded to fifth late. Switches to Gaffalione and should get a better ride here. (1) Windy City Red drops and adds Irad. Should be formidable. (6) Magical Jaime is worth a look on Tapeta. (2) Drum and Drummer looks like the one to catch. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-7. Exactas: 1-7 over 2-6 and 2-6 over 1-7. Doubles: 1-2-6-7 with 1-4-6-7.

3rd race – (1) Reckless Place returns from a layoff and may thrive in a high-priced claimer. (6) Golden Indy should handle the switch to dirt. (7) Frosted Faith has speed from the outside and may not look back. (4) Pirate Life is an interesting firster who could steal this one. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6. Exactas: 1-6 over 4-7 and 4-7 over 1-6.

6th race – (2) Similar Taste takes a drop in class and seems to have found a field he can handle. (7) Volte Face comes off a solid maiden win and should be main factor. (3) Savage Sailor also faces weaker and should be effective here. (4) Icy Storm could heat up in this spot. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-7. Doubles: 2-3-4-7 with 4-5-6-8.

7th race – (4) Amount drops into a claimer for Pletcher and should prove best in this field. (5) Corrado looks like the main challenger in this field. (6) Law of the Land might welcome a return to dirt. (8) Gunduz has speed and may get brave on the front end. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5. Exactas: 4-5 over 6-8 and 6-8 over 4-5.

9th race – (9) Memphis Showboat (A) was unprepared for the start and then raced wide. Adds Irad here and should make amends for that setback. (2) Gabby Squared drops in class and looks like the one to fear. (4) Domineering returns to turf where he won at this level four starts ago. (1) Divine Exchange won his lone turf start and should not be ignored from the rail. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-9.
