3rd race – (7) Baby Mo should be on the early lead and may hang on in this field. (5) Domineer might appreciate the switch to turf. (1) Simply the Best will be a factor if there’s no rust from a lengthy layoff. (4) War Star should be a threat in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-7. Doubles: 1-4-5-7 with 3-5-6-7.

4th race – (6) Miles of Smiles was second at this level and should break her maiden today. (7) Dove in Charge was a distant second last time but could be closer at the finish this time. (5) Oaxaca might perk up against claimers. (3) Hotter Than July seems better suited for dirt and may wake up. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6-7.

6th race – (5) Treasure King is a firster for Pletcher who seems ready for a big effort. (2) Globes has a nice turn of speed and could be the one to catch. (7) Mr. Cellular is worth a look off the Rivelli claim. (1) Space Runner may be well-suited by Tapeta. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5. Exactas: 2-5 over 1-7 and 1-7 over 2-5.

8th race – (3) Amusing Antics (B) gets back on turf and should prove best in this field. (8) Secret Time returns from a layoff and seems on edge for a good showing. (6) Lilac Girl is working nicely for her debut against winners. (2) Commanders Palace could return to top form after a layoff. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-8.

10th race – (1) Aussie Pride rallied strongly for second in his debut and can take a step forward here. (5) Nepotism handled Tapeta nicely and should be equally suited by turf. (4) Q F Seventy Five was third in his last two starts and figures to be a factor here. (2) Advanced Placement was third after a layoff and should not be ignored in this field. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-5.
