1st race – (2) Ray Arewethereyet (A) had a rough start and wide trip and still finished second. She’ll graduate from the maiden ranks today. (5) Elusive Uncaptured is worth a long look in her debut. (4) Lovelorn Lady is another promising firster. (8) Freak has been racing in stakes and will enjoy the class relief here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-5-8.

4th race – (4) Known Agenda was competitive in graded stakes and is a standout here. (5) Etched in Stone should relish the two-turn distance and a switch back to dirt. (1) Top Gun Tommy seeks a third straight win and is worth a look. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5.

6th race – (1) Austrian was second last time at this level and makes amends here. (3) Semper Fi tired last time but could perk up with Irad aboard. (5) Digital Footprint missed by a neck in a claimer and should be right there at the wire. (6) Light Fury could prove tough to catch in this spot. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3. Exactas: 1-3 over 5-6 and 5-6 over 1-3.

8th race – (8) Uncle Fun was hurt by a wide trip last time and can make amends here. (3) Onemoretimearound steps up off the Gargan claim and cannot be ignored. (7) Golovkin has a sharp turn of early speed and will be hard to reel in. (9) Halcyon Digest disappointed last time but can bounce back here. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-7-8-9. Doubles: 3-7-8-9 with 2-4-5-7.

9th race – (2) R Adios Jersey (C) dropped from 6-5 to 3-5 ad rolled to a second straight win. Can remain undefeated here. (5) Headline Hunter promises to be a formidable challenger after winning his debut. (4) Ideal Breeze faces an acid test here after a lopsided maiden win. (7) Snackster might work out a good trip from the outside post. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5. Exactas: 2-5 over 4-7 and 4-7 over 2-5.
