4th race – (6) Reinvestment Risk has been away since June but is training smartly for his comeback. (2) Thinkaboutit won by a neck last time and will be a major factor. (1) Milliken will be dangerous on his best try. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6.

6th race – (6) Letruska was a champion last year and should start 2022 on a winning note. (3) Crazy Beautiful was a graded stakes winner a year ago and will be the main rival. (1) Il Malocchio might benefit from a rail trip here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-6.

9th race – (2) Complete Agenda (B) raced wide from post nine last time. Expect a better trip and result here. (8) Pioneering Spirit was second last time and will be a main contender. (3) Montauk Point should appreciate a little more distance here. (6) Magia Nera can benefit from a useful debut with an improved showing here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-8. Doubles: 2-3-6-8 with 1-2-5-6.

10th race – (5) Applecross (A) missed by a neck after a layoff and should get the job done today. (6) Star Seeking was second in her U.S. debut and should be the main rival. (1) Black Sand was a maiden winner on Tapeta who has done well on turf in the past. (2) Magna Mater had a troubled trip last time and seems ready for a big effort in her third U.S. start. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-6.

12th race – (6) Thistle is working nicely for his debut for Chad and deserves top billing here. (4) Vocalize will appreciate the stretchout to two turns. (3) Growth Capital is another firster from Chad Brown who can make his presence felt. (1) La Maquina was beaten by a neck last time and cannot be discounted in this field. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-6.
