3rd race – (6) What’s the Move (C) dropped from 9-5 to 6-5 and then displayed a strong, wide kick to break his maiden. Can make it two in a row here. (3) Jimmysmokedcarrot switches to Irad and should turn in a better effort. (7) Pearlescent also has a nice late kick and can be a factor here. (5) Trish the Dish may work out a better trip here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6-7.

5th race - (1) Buxom Beast was claimed out of a race in which she tired at a mile. Should appreciate the cutback to a sprint. (6) Mystical Charge may wake up in a new barn against a weak field. (3) Miahsolomiah looks like the one they’ll have to catch in the stretch. (7) Mudslide Wicked will welcome a return to turf.  Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-6-7. Doubles: 1-3-6-7 with 1-4-8-9.

6th race – (9) Boston Post Road is a firster for Chad Brown and Peter Brant who seems ready to graduate at first asking. (4) Iced Latte debuts for Pletcher and should be the main rival. (1) Red Hot and Blue could be a contender in her debut. (8) Trust Today is the only entrant with racing experience and that may pay off today. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-8-9.

9th race – (1) Obligatory had a useful debut in October and has trained well since then. With the addition of Lasix, she may be ready for a winning effort here. (6) Born Again rallied mildly for third in her debut and could move forward here. (7) Precipitate tired in her debut but should put up a better fight today. (4) Front Street might appreciate the cutback to a one-turn mile. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-6-7. Doubles: 1-4-6-7 with 2-3-5-7.

10th race – (2) Reservenotattained (C) dropped from 4-5 to 2-5 and won by six lengths for a second straight time. Can stretch the win streak to three here. (7) What’s to Blame made a winning switch to the main track and looks like the one to fear. (5)  Crea’s Bklyn Law might respond positively to the move to a starter race. (3) Miles Ahead exits a Claiming Crown stakes and will be formidable here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-7. Exactas: 2-7 over 3-5 and 3-5 over 2-7.
