2nd race – (1) Gimme Some Mo showed more life when he tried claimers for the first time. He takes another drop here and should prove best. (4) Favored seems to be ready for a strong effort in his debut. (5) Colliery didn’t fire last time but can rebound here. (7) The Angry Man merits attention while facing claimers for the first time. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-7. Doubles: 1-4-5-7 with 1-2-7.

3rd race – (2) Bacchanalia didn’t fire after a six-month layoff but is working nicely for today’s race and should bounce back with a good effort. (1) Ask Bailey has plenty of stakes experience and shapes up as the one to fear. (7) Oceans of Love has enough speed to be dangerous in a small field. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-7.

6th race – (1) Bold Agenda is a 700K purchase making a belated debut for Pletcher but can make up for lost time here. (3) Or’effice cannot be ignored in his first start for Shug. (6) Nocturnal also hails from Pletcher’s barn and returns from a nine-month layoff. If there’s no rust, he’ll be a major threat. (7) Brazillionaire tired in his debut but worked out quickly for today’s race. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-6-7.

8th race – (10) Lalali (C) dropped from 3-1 to 2-1 then wound up locked in a tough speed duel and settled for third. The shorter six-furlong distance will help her chances. (12) Galit Jak has some early speed and may hang on at this reduced level. (6) Twinkiesandturnips may appreciate a jockey switch to Paco. (11) Dinner At Five has late speed and will benefit from a quick pace. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 6-10-11-12.

10th race – (7) Coalition Building has not raced for 14 months but her works say she’s ready for a sharp comeback effort. (8) L’Indiscret had an awkward start last time but can bounce back here. (2) Star Command finally gets an inside post and should benefit from a ground-saving trip. (10) Take Charge Ro fits in nicely with this group but has a rough post. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-7-8-10.
