1st race – (10) Hedy Lamarr led most of the way before tiring in the final furlong to finish second. Adds Lasix and can hang on here and post a maiden win. (1) Siempre Elegante is well-bred and should turn in a good effort here in her debut. (4) Bravo Kitten was third in her debut and should be a main threat. (8) Brisky Frolic adds Lasix here and could turn in an improved effort.  Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-8-10.

4th race – (6) Our Fantasy missed by a head last time and can make amends for that setback today. (1) Papa’s Little Girl drops out of a Claiming Crown stakes and should make her presence felt here. (3) Battle Cry will be a factor in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-6.

6th race – (4) Spectacular Gal (A) has won her last two races by 16 lengths and seems well-spotted for another big try. (6) Sum Return fell a neck short last time and can make amends here. (2) Cascade Park has been no worse than second in her last three starts and should not be ignored here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-6. Doubles: 2-4-6 with 4-6-8-11.

7th race – (11) Gonna Be Epic (A) lacked room and then flew home for second when clear. Drew a tough post, but seems poised for a winning effort. (4) Vinny Dream drops to a level where he should be competitive. (6) Mr Everything should appreciate the added distance. (8) Sweeney’s Cat should be a threat  in this field. Betting strategy: 11 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-8-11.

10th race – (2) Royal Spirit may be a maiden but has already been second and fourth in a stakes. Should graduate from the maiden ranks today. (4) No Nay Franklin is another maiden with stakes experience and is the one to fear. (11) Parquetry was third and second in his lone starts and should be in the picture again in this field. (6) Jimmy the Boot is an interesting first-time starter. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-6-11.
