1st race – (2) Dominant Joy (C) dropped from 1-2 to all the way down to 1-5 and won by seven lengths. Was claimed out of that start and should continue her winning ways for new connections. (5) Fleche d’Amour broke her maiden last time and could give Barboza a 1-2 finish. (6) Pearlintherough rallied for second last time and should be in the picture here. (8) Freccia d’Argento drops in class and can be a threat here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-6-8.

3rd race – (1) Fabricate descends into a claimer and should work out a winning trip. (3) Twelfth Moon has some speed and could be tough to catch. (2) Shea On a Mission returns to a claimer and fits in well here. (6) Miszlo has been freshened and seems ready for a top effort. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3. Exactas: 1-3 over 2-6 and 2-6 over 1-3.

5th race – (6) Tallis was given some time off after a sharp maiden win and seems ready to tackle winners. (2) Catch That Party has been second or third in his last five starts and can complete the exacta. (3) Lightning Rod can rebound in this spot. (5) Our Country will welcome a return to turf. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-6. Doubles: 2-3-5-6 with 1-2-3-7.

6th race – (3) Credit Event debuts for Chad Brown and should be able to handle this field. (2) Once a Giant might perk up on the Tapeta course. (1) Awesome Strike seems on edge for a strong effort in his debut. (7) Forwardly rallied belatedly in his debut and deserves respect here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3. Exactas: 2-3 over 1-7 and 1-7 over 2-3.

8th race – (4) Souper All Star was gaining ground at the end last time and should reach the wire first in this spot. (1) Brody’s Honor will benefit from a rail trip. (5) Yolanda’s Pride has enough speed to be a major threat. (6) Causingahullbaloo missed by a length last time and should be considered here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4. Exactas: 1-4 over 5-6 and 5-6 over 1-4.
