2nd race – (4) Mony tries five furlongs and may find the slightly shorter distance to his liking. (3) Military Drill should wake up off the class drop. (2) Emicrack won his last and seems to be in good form. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4. Doubles: 2-3-4 with 2-3-5-9.

3rd race – (3) Men On The Hill was a good second when tried on turf for the first time and should be tough to beat here. (2) Egyptian God is an interesting first-time starter from Chad Brown. (5) Native Thunder debuts for Pletcher and could be a contender. (9) Sul Pharoah should perform better on turf. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-9.

6th race – (7) Beside Herself (A) was hurt by a wide trip last time and missed by only a little less than a length. Gets a maiden victory here. (9) Public Service seems ready for a strong effort in her debut. (5) Empress At War may take a step forward this time around. (3) Ughrouda looks like a firster with potential. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-7-9.

8th race – (2) Curbstone was second in his last two starts and seems poised for a big try after a freshening. (8) Celestial Glaze seems to have found a good spot for her debut. (1) Bandimere could have an impact on the outcome in his first try. (7) Sosua Summer was speed and could be tough to catch.  Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-7-8.

11th race – (4) Devoted Kitten rallied late for fourth last time but should be able to play catch-up with this group. (2) Captain Thunder drops in class and could be the one to fear. (1) Here Comes Bullet might get to the lead and not look back from the rail. (7) Benefactor flopped in a starter allowance but will appreciate a return to a claimer. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-7.
