3rd race – (3) Comedic ships in from California. Has raced well on turf and should handle Tapeta. (7) Mouffy is a firster with interesting potential. (2) La Casa d’Oro also makes her debut and seems primed for a strong effort. (1) Sheer Alice should enjoy the cutback to a sprint. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-7. Exactas: 3-7 over 1-2 and 1-2 over 3-7. Doubles: 1-2-3-7 with 2-3-7-9. Pick 3: 1-2-3-7 with 2-3-7-9 with 3-4-5-6.

4th race – (3) Carronade makes his career debut for Pletcher and looks best in this spot. (2) Master of Arms also makes his first start and merits a close look. (9) Iron Works  can also make his presence felt this field. (7) Awesome Aaron is another firster who is working sharply toward his first start. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-7-9. Doubles: 2-3-7-9 with 3-4-5-6.

5th race – (5) Dean’s List (A) won easily in his debut and can prevail here in his first try against winners. (4) Dean Delivers has been absent since a stakes try in July and should be the main rival. (6) In Due Time has a nice turn of speed and will be a main threat. (3) Spuntacular exits stakes company and is worth a look. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5. Exactas: 4-5 over 3-6 and 3-6 over 4-5.

8th race – (4) Value Proposition disappointed last time but can bounce back with a big effort here. (1) Largent has been off for nearly a year but will be dangerous on her best try. (6) Call Curt turned in a solid effort against allowance company and can be a main factor here. (2) Clear Vision has speed and could be tough to catch. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-6.

10th race – (6) Sprout Wings has notched three straight wins and can record a fourth in this spot. (7) Wild America has plenty of speed and should be the main rival. (5) Psychic Ability makes his first start for Joseph and should not be ignored. (1) My Destiny will be a threat from the rail. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6-7.
