2nd race – (5) Templet gets some class relief here and might respond with a winning effort. (6) High Tide was claimed by Maker out of a winning effort and will be a main factor here. (3) Calibrator has enough speed to lead throughout here. (2) Oceans Map might hang on for a share of the purse.  Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6. Exactas: 5-6 over 2-3 and 2-3 over 5-6. Doubles: 2-3-5-6 with 1-3-4-7.

3rd race – (1) Let Them Eat Cake ran her best races here last year and was been working nicely for today’s start. (4) Too Sexy was second in her last two races and looks like the main threat. (3) Anything Goes seems to fit in well with this group. (7) Oriole is an interesting first-time starter. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4. Exactas: 1-4 over 3-7 and 3-7 with 1-4.

5th race – (6) Fast Catalina (B) comes off a solid win for the same claiming tag and shapes as the one to beat. (5) Charlotte the Brit is just 2-for-27 but gets Irad and cannot be ignored. (10) Henni Penny has some ability but has to avoid a wide trip. (4) Sammy’s Town was second in her last two starts and should be a factor in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-6-10.

7th race – (5) Morocco (A) posted two straight wins at this level and should be able to make it a hat trick here. (4) Galleon Mast figures to thrive in a claimer and merits attention. (6) High Noon Rider will be a serious threat in the stretch. (2) Thunder Ride could benefit from a lack of pace in the race. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5. Exactas: 4-5 over 2-6 and 2-6 over 4-5.

10th race – (10) Future Victory drops into a claimer and should be able to handle this bunch for Pletcher. (3) Big Snitch is a firster who could be a contender here. (4) Eamonn missed by a eck and will be dangerous for new connections. (5) Alado is worth a look while stretching out. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-10.
