1st race – (9) Work Ethic takes a big class drop and adds Saez and blinkers for this trip while returning to turf. Should prove best in this spot. (5) Loyal Louie looks like the one to catch back on turf. (4) Outdoor Dining might shine in his second career start. (8) Awesome Family might perk up on turf. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-8-9.

4th race - (4) Unlonely (B) returns to turf, where he turned in his best effort, and should get the job done against this group. (6) Dreaming Thousand was second at this level last time and promises to be the main rival. (9) Cheval Dore should fare better at a sprint distance. (7) Lemon Go could be a factor in a weak field while making his debut. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-7-9.

6th race – (6) Iced Latte never fired as a favorite in her debut but her recent works indicate she’ll turn in a much better effort today. (8) Surrealist is training sharply for her 3-year-old debut and deserves a close look. (7) Zuri might be ready for a strong try in her debut. (3) Mary Jane Chrome is another firster who could be a contender here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-6-7-8. Doubles: 3-6-7-8 with 2-3-6-7.

7th race – (7) Bugle of War comes off two sharp efforts at Tampa Bay and seems to have found a spot where he should be a main threat. (6) Major Frontier also ships in from Tampa and merits attention here. (2) Raison d’Air could be tough to catch from an inside post. (3) Safe Conduct has been absent since a maiden win in August but is working nicely for his comeback. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 6-7. Exactas: 6-7 over 2-3 and 2-3 over 6-7.

9th race – (7) Osaka Girl showed a nice turn of speed at a longer distance last time. The mile distance should be perfect. (5) Sunset Kiss is worth a look in her U.S. debut. (4) Nope had a useful comeback race and might move forward here. (1) Una Luna should be a contender from the rail. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-7.
