1st race – (7) California Gigi takes a big class drop and seems best in this bunch. (6) Knowwhentofoldem is a firster from Joseph who merits respect. (10) Wi Fi might wake up in this spot. (3) Real Good Vybz may be fine on Tapeta. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-6-7-10.

3rd race – (2) Mitigation (B) was a good second on Tapeta and should be effective on turf as well. (3) Queen Macha usually brings home check and looks like a main threat. (8) Spurt is a firster from Clement with solid credentials. (5) Blythe Spirit should be well-suited by a return to turf. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-8. Doubles: 2-3-5-8 with 4-5-6.

4th race – (6) Peachy Weachy takes a class drop here and should prove best. (5) Playa Inclusion is a stablemate of the top pick who can complete the exacta. (4) Del Ray Dolly comes off a nice win and should not be ignored. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-6.

8th race – (2) Lookinlikeaqueen returns to turf for this trip and is worth a long look. (3) Daddy’s Joy might wake up while stretching out on turf. (6) My Sunny Valentine  comes off a big win on Tapeta and should handle turf as well. (1) Charlotte the Brit will benefit from a rail trip. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-6. Doubles: 1-2-3-6 with 3-5-7-10.

9th race – (10) Cacheton turned in an improved effort on Tapeta and looks like the one to beat here. (3) Philzano missed by a neck last time and should be the main rival. (5) Costanza could be a factor in his career debut. (7) Awkward Pause showed brief speed in his debut but could take a step forward off a class drop. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-7-10.
