2nd race – (3) King Cairo  returns to a claimer and looks best in this spot. (4) Carrobio might appreciate a return to dirt and the claiming ranks. (6) Steak and Cheese could be a tasty choice in this spot. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-6.

4th race – (4) Corey (C) was bet down from 4-1 to 5-2 and won a state-bred allowance test. Takes a drastic drop and will be hard to beat if all is well. (6) Sexy Dream also takes a steep drop in class and could be the one to fear. (3) Miss Italy may appreciate some added distance. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-6.

7th race – (2) Sanity was claimed last time out by Maker when he tired in an optional claimer. Cuts back in distance while running in starter company and may be hard to catch. (5) Sethamee Street should be closing quickly at the end and will be a factor late. (3) Awsum Roar usually puts in a solid effort and cannot be ignored. (7) Odramark seeks a third straight win and fits in well with this group. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5. Exactas: 2-5 with 3-7 and 3-7 with 2-5.

9th race – (8) Kroy (C) was bet down from 8-5 to 6-5 and missed by a neck. Makes amends in this spot. (2) Freedom Matters was third when claimed by Breen at this level and looms a key threat. (6) Zap Daddy chases a third straight win and will be a force on his best try. (1) Souper Jaguar might perk up off the Sweezey claim. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-8. Exactas: 2-8 over 1-6 and 1-6 over 2-8. Doubles: 1-2-6-8 with 1-7-9-12.

10th race – (1) K’s Running Free stretches out and drops in class. Should be able to handle this field from the rail. (7) Sylvanella could be tough to catch off the class drop. (12) Obstinate might perk up while moving back to turf in his debut for Sacco. (9) Mercy Mercy should be more competitive at this level. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-7-9-12.
