1st race – (2) Leopardi drops into a claimer for Pletcher and should be able to handle this field. (10) Irish King was competitive in his first try on turf and is worth a look here. (8) Simms might wake up in a claimer. (3) Catatumbo may be a threat in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-8-10.

4th race – (1) Vive Bien debuts for Joseph after a sharp debut at Tampa. Should break his maiden here. (2) Reddington will welcome a shorter distance. (3) Stat makes his debut for Joseph after being disqualified from first in his initial start. (6) Bold Play seems on edge for a strong try in his career debut. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2. Exactas: 1-2 over 3-6 and 3-6 over 1-2.

6th race – (5) Spirit Wind (A) won her debut by a pole and can make it two in a row here. (4) One Identity seeks a third straight win and looks like the one to fear. (1) Leviosa merits resect off the Gargan claim. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5.

9th race – (5) Bright Future makes his career debut for Pletcher and seems well-meant here. (6) Practical Way should fare better at one turn. (4) Gasoline also debuts for Pletcher and seems ready to motor. (3) Touch Code was third in his last two starts and cannot be overlooked. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-6. Doubles: 3-4-5-6 with 2-3-6-9.

10th race – (3) Arrest Me Red returns from a freshening after winning three in a row and should resume his winning ways. (9) Yes I Am Free won a Grade 3 stakes here and should be the main rival. (6) Belgrano was third in a pair of Grade 3 stakes and looms as the one to fear. (2) Cool Quest will be a force if he handles turf. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-9.
