2nd race – (6) Whiskey Sunrise (C) was bet down from 7-5 to even money and finished a distant second. Can make amends off the D’Angelo claim. (2) Where’s Joey won easily last time and should be the one to fear. (3) King Cairo comes off a third-place finish and debuts for Delgado here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6. Doubles: 2-3-6 with 1-5-6-7.

3rd race – (7) Chanceux was second in a stakes earlier in the meet and looks best here. (5) Midnight Chrome returns to turf and looms a main threat. (6) Rocket One should be a threat in the final furlong. (1) Seigneur won his debut and can be a factor from the rail. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-7. Exactas: 5-7 over 1-6 and 1-6 over 5-7.

5th race – (1) The Great Oz drops in class and finds a field he should be able to handle. (5) Mean Machine will be motoring at the finish and could be the key rival. (6) Royale may welcome a return to turf. (8) Six Minus is worth a look in his first try against winners. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6-8.

8th race – (6) Market Rumor has not raced since the Keeneland fall meet but can prevail on her best try. (10) King’s Harlequin debuts in the United States for Clement and seems talented enough to be a main threat. (9) Queen of the Green has been away for 11 months but has enough class to be a contender. (5) New York Girl also returns from a layoff but should not be overlooked. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6-9-10. Doubles: 5-6-7-9-10 with 1-2-5.

9th race – (5) Doc Amster (A) missed by a head last time in a strong effort and can prevail in this spot. (2) Paladio cannot be ignored off the Delgado claim. (1) Absolute Grit won easily last time and can make his presence felt here. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5.
