1st race – (5) Sister Is Devil returns to turf and should benefit from a slight class drop in this spot. (4) Watermelon Sugar had a dismal debut on dirt but might wake up on turf with a switch to Irad. (3) Not Tonight Bobby had some traffic problems last time and might improve with blinkers. (7) B C Belle should be a threat at this level. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-7.

4th race – (5) Ghostly Beauty has a strong late kick and should work out a winning trip here. (8) Skye Snow was a game second last time and should be the main rival. (4) Antigone is worth a look off the switch to turf which could bring out the best in her. (9) All About Kathern stumbled at the start and lost all chance. Deserves a second chance here. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-8-9.

6th race – (1) Uncaptured Soldier (B) showed nice determination last time at a mile and should be well-suited by the turnback to a sprint. (3) Top Boss has some speed and should benefit from a shorter distance. (2) The Ice Beast drops to a level where she should be a main factor. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3.

8th race – (7) R Calli Kim hasn’t raced since August but drops to a level where she should prove best. (5) Ms Meshak deserves some attention off a win and the Baxter claim. (1) Shes All Woman was second in her last two starts and belongs in the exotics. (4) Nantucket Red might appreciate the turf to dirt switch. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-7. Doubles: 1-4-5-7 with 1-3-5-7.

9th race – (5) Tracy Ann’s Legacy (B) ran well on a sloppy track and should take a step forward back on turf. (7) Spun Glass has a nice late kick and might be able to catch this field in the final furlong. (1) Foxxy Belle won smartly last time and will be a force off the Maker claim. (3) Lenzi’s Lucky Lady exits stakes company and should not be overlooked. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-7. Exactas: 5-7 with 1-3 and 1-3 with 5-7.
