1st race – (6) Beach Warrior ships in from Tampa Bay and finds a field he should be able to handle. (8) Andres Eduardo gets Irad and deserves a long look. (5) Beeboo was claimed by Zerpa and could be a main contender. (1) The King Aquiles may benefit greatly from a rail trip. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6-8. Doubles: 1-5-6-8 with 2-3-6.

2nd race - (6) Surprise Factor was claimed out of a runner-up finish by Barboza and looks best here. (3) Clamor had an uneventful return from a layoff and could take a step forward here. (2) Romario could pose a threat in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6.

6th race – (5) Liza Star (C) was bet down from 7-5 to 4-5 and posted a decisive front-running win for Walder. Can make it two in a row here. (1) Free to Fly seeks a fourth straight win and looks like the one to fear. (6) Subsidiary has enough speed to be a factor throughout against this bunch. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6. Doubles: 1-5-6 with 1-2-4-7.

7th race – (2) Baseline Drive rallied wide to take third against claimers but seems capable of beating a weak MSW group. (1) Bonkers returns to turf after a layoff and merits some attention. (7) Eskimo’s Boss  merits some attention while making his career debut. (4) Ballymore Star is working nicely for her comeback and could be a contender. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exactas: 1-2-4-7.

9th race – (2) Patty H (B) turned in a strong effort on the front end but settled for second. Can make amends here. (7) Gone to Cabo could be tougher on a dry track. (1) To a T has some late kick and will be helped by a ground-saving trip. (5) Briella was claimed by Breen out of a winning effort and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-7.
