1st race – (5) Karenville didn’t dire on dirt against better company in her debut. She should perk up on turf with a switch to Irad. (10) Super Leggera was third in her debut and makes her first start for new connections. Should be competitive here. (1) Quid Pro Glow might fare better on turf. (11) Wild Story has some speed but will have to overcome a rough post. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-10-11.

4th race – (2) Baby Lion (C) dropped from 6-5 to 4-5 then romped by more than 12 lengths. Should be able to post another win in this spot. (3) Elliereeseaston was second at this level and will be dangerous off the Joseph claim. (6) Coffee Buzz Buzz could perk up at this level. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6. Doubles: 2-3-6 with 3-4-7-8.

5th race – (8) Red Flag Alert has flopped against MSW rivals but should prevail here in a claimer. (7) Big Perm was second in his last two starts and can make it a hat trick today. (4) Calabash adds blinkers and may wake up. (3) Mighty Tough should be a stretch threat here. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-7-8.

8th race – (4) One Eyed Jack takes a big drop off the Joseph claim and should prove best here. (2) Super Edgar ships in from Tampa Bay and might be ready for an improved effort. (6) Excalibur didn’t fire last time but can bounce back here. (1) Alejandro’s Team will welcome a return to the main track. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-6. Doubles: 1-2-4-6 with 1-2-5-8.

9th race – (5) She Throws Heat should appreciate the added distance and looks best in this spot. (1) Lido Key seeks a third straight win and looks like the main rival. (8) Valletta has also won her last two starts and cannot be ignored here. (2) Margaret rallied for third in a graded stakes and will be a big factor in the final yards. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-8.
