1st race – (2) Swing Low (B) was hurt by a wide trip in his first start in 11 months. Should benefit from that race and prevail here. (4) Free Shopping might appreciate a slightly longer distance here. (8) Big Art had some trouble last time and should be a factor here. (1) Isabella’s Dream could be a threat from the rail. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-8.

3rd race – (2) Shes All Woman battled gamely throughout last time when second and should be poised for a win here. (1) Dem a Wonder comes off a sharp win and looms as the main threat. (4) Race Day Speed seeks a third straight win and will be dangerous here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4.

5th race – (1) Tulfarris has been away since he missed by a nose in October. Seems ready for a nice try for new connections. (8) Impressive Speed steps up off a good second and could be the main contender. (9) Performing Arts should be effective at this level. (3) Assiduously figures to be a factor in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-8-9. Doubles: 1-3-8-9 with 1-2-5-7.

6th race – (7) Cashier Check (C) dropped from 7-5 to even money but settled for third. Could work out a better trip here. (2) Volte Face fell short by a neck last time and may be the one to fear. (5) Eye On the Candy broke his maiden last time and should be competitive against winners. (1) Protonic Power should save ground here and be a force in the stretch. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-7. Exactas: 2-7 over 1-5 and 1-5 over 2-7.

8th race – (2) Winter Princess rallied five wide last time when fourth and should take a step forward here for new connections. (6) Basilia lacked room last time and can be a major player here for new connections. (8) Centsational looks like the one to catch in this spot. (1) Meet the Beauty had a wide trip last time and may appreciate a ground-saving post here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6-8.
