1st race – (8) Competent was well beaten in her debut in a race switched to the main track. Should be more competitive on turf. (6) Miahsolomiah has a solid turn of sped and could be tough to catch. (5) Talega Dinero had a useful debut and might be sharper today. (9) Mudslide Wicked should also be part of the early pace and might hang on. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6-8-9.

3rd race – (10) Cairo Campaign has never been worse than third in five career starts and looks best here. (9) Sovereign Warrior missed by a neck last time and will be a force here. (6) Big Man Bob might benefit from the shorter distance. (4) Unprecedented should be a threat in this group. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-9-10.

5th race – (2) Camellia Gal has plenty of speed and could be tough to catch here. (7) Real Doozie was claimed in her last two starts and should be a main rival. (5) Sengekontacket comes off a nice maiden win and will be a factor here. (1) Wicked Mercury will benefit from a rail trip. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-7. Doubles: 1-2-5-7 with 2-3-6.

6th race – (6) Bird Map set a quick pace and settled for third. She might not look back here. (3) Time to Two Step should be top contender back in a claimer. (2) Perspire had a wide trip last time and should be able to save some ground today. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6.

9th race – (6) Vividly (A) missed the break in her U.S. debut then closed quickly to miss by a length. Should make amends for that setback here. (7) Moral Reasoning rallied wide last time and might work out a better trip here. (11) Pilot Episode should welcome a return to turf. (8) North Broadway has been absent since July and seems ready for a good effort here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 6-7-8-11.
