3rd race – (3) Sizzling Romawas a good second against similar and can make amends for that setback. (5) Baby Blue Ice flopped last time but fits better here. (1) Probably Grace steps up a notch after a decisive win and could be a factor. (7) Miz Chaplin drops to a level where she can be effective. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5. Exactas: 3-5 over 1-7 and 1-7 over 3-5.

6th race - (6) Bardot was second against better company in her debut and gets the call here. (7) Harmonic Thunder may perk up on dirt. (3) May Day Info drops considerably and adds Irad for this trip. (5) Kozy Dreams should contend in this spot. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6-7.

8th race – (4) Dynadrive returns to turf and should prove best in this spot. (1) Mandate exits a sharp maiden win and cannot be ignored. (12) Uncork the Bottle drops from a stakes to a claimer and merits attention. (5) Rhythm Section can make some noise in his first try against winners. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-12. Doubles: 1-4-5-12 with 2-4-5-6.

9th race – (6) Jesus’ Team (C) dropped from 2-1 to 7-5 and won easily on the front end. Can make it two in a row here. (4) Smash cold be a hit against claimers. (2) Frank First will be happy to return to the main track. (5) Blueridge Mountain can bounce back to top form against this group. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place.  Exacta box: 2-4-5-6.

11th race – (2) Florado (C) was bet down from 9-2 to 7-2 and missed by a neck. Atones for that loss today. (1) Ocean Fire has been competitive against MSW company and is the one to fear from the rail. (9) Miss Flying Sun is worth a look while facing claimers and adding Gaffalione. (5) Quiet Company has enough speed to be a threat here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place.  Exacta box: 1-2-5-9.
