1st race – (9) Traffic Trouble (B) finished a good third despite a four-wide trip. Can handle this group with a similar effort. (2) Mayito has been second or third in four of five starts and should be the main rival. (12) Lovedisc will welcome a return to turf. (16) Castillete (B) was bumped at the start and never recovered. Deserves a second chance if he can scratch into the race. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-9-12-16.

4th race - (10) Get Rewarded (C) was bet down from 4-1 to 2-1 then had to wait for running room before drawing clear for a victory. Can make it two in a row here. (6) Sand Drift has been second or third in her last five starts and could be the one to fear. (4) Too Much War beat limited winners last time but can threaten here. (1) Algodonal will be a force from the rail. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-6-10.

6th race - (8) Strong Headed (B) was fanned five wide last time and closed fast for second. Works out  a winning trip here. (3) Call Curt (B) rallied sharply for third in his first try for new connections and should take a step forward here. (4) Riggins can ramble into the picture here in a claimer. (11) Reconvene was a good third in his debut and should not be ignored. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-8-11.

9th race – (6) Halladay (C) dropped from 3-1 to 2-1 and posted a frontrunning win despite fast fractions. Could be tough to catch here. (4) Aquaphobia comes off a nice fourth in a Grade 2 stakes at Fair Grounds and should be a danger in the final furlong. (9) Social Paranoia was a fast-closing winner of his 2020 debut and should not be ignored. (11) Admission Office was a game second to Zulu Alpha but has a tough post. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-9-11.

12th race – (3) Peppi the Hunter was an easy winner last time and can make it two in a row for new connections. (6) The Queens Jules tired in the stretch last time but may hang on with a switch to Irad and the main track. (10) Starship Apollo fits in well against this field. (8) Discreet Heat drops in class and cannot be discounted. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place.  Exacta box: 3-6-8-10.
