1st race – (8) Open Road showed speed and held on in his first try at 1 1/8 miles. Can lead throughout here (2) Ethereal Road switches to Irad and looks like the one to fear. (6) B Dawk should turn in a better effort here. (9) Search Engine fits in nicely but landed the outside post.

2nd race – (8) Vivid Dreams is a firster from Pletcher who looks best here. (6) Klassy Bridgette closed for second in her debut and will be a stretch threat here. (2) Magical Song debuts for Cox and is worth a look. (11) Adiva adds Prat and has some appeal.

3rd race - (11) Marsalis can control the pace from the outside post and handle this field. (6) Pro Oxidant has been working smartly for this test. (3) Spartan Army was third behind the top pick and should be in the picture again. (8) Appeal Denied exits a solid win and is worth a close look.

4th race – (9) Arabian Lion was an impressive debut winner for Baffert and can make it two in a row here. (2) Giant Mischief won his debut despite trouble and can push the top pick. (12) Protégé look good winning his debut and should be a factor. (11) Tres Soles showed speed in his debut and might hang on here.

5th race – Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Stakes (G2) - (4) Heywoods Beach won a 1 ½-mile stakes at Santa Anita and should handle the longer distance here. (6) Bal Harbour might be tough off the Diodoro claim. (9) Win the Day should be gaining ground in the final furlong. (1) Rattle N Roll can benefit from a rail trip.

6th race – Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G1) - (12) The Platinum Queen is a highly regarded filly from Europe who looks best here. (11) Speed Boat Beach is a rare turf sprinter for Baffert but he’s talented nonetheless. (5) Mischief Magic had a three-race win streak stopped last time but can bounce back here. (2) Love Reigns hails from Ward’s barn and could be tough to catch.

7th race –  Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) - (7) Chop Chop missed by a nose after a slow start and can make amends here. (10) Chocolate Gelato could take a step forward on a dry track. (3) And Tell Me Nolies ships in from California with three straight wins and cannot be overlooked. (5) Wonder Wheel beat the top pick by a nose over the track and merits respect.

8th Race -  Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) - (4) Free Look was a troubled second last time and makes amends here. (2) Cairo Consort also had a rough trip and will be dangerous in this field. (11) G Laurie seems primed for a big effort. (9) Delight has enough speed to lead gate-to-wire here

9th race –Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) - (3) Cave Rock is an undefeated star for Baffert and merits top billing. (6) Blazing Sevens took a nice step forward in the Champagne and continued improvement will make him a major factor. (4) Forte is on a roll with two Grade 1 wins and has enough talent to register a victory. (5) Verifying was a good second in the Champagne and should be considered.

10th race – Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1)  - (4) Silver Knott is a sharp European from Appleby and will be tough to handle. (1) Victoria Road should work out a beneficial ground-saving trip. (6) Andthewinneris is on the improve and can be a contender here, (8) I’m Very Busy has the credentials to walk away with a win here.
